Nauticollar was founded in 2018 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Pittsburgh's three rivers and the vessels which navigate their waters are the lifeblood of the city. Just as the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers merge to form the Ohio River, the Nauticollar brand merges the founders' love of all things nautical with their love of dogs.

Setting sail down the Ohio River takes you through the Heartland of America to the Gulf of Mexico. Much of the inspiration for the Nauticollar brand was taken from the founders' experiences at port cities during their travels. From the blue-collar, rust belt cities of the Midwest to the laid back attitude of costal towns. From New England to Florida, around the Gulf, and spanning the Pacific coast, Nauticollar embraces everything that the United States has to offer.

Harbor (short for One Particular Harbor) is the founders' Golden Retriever. His love of the water inspires the day-to-day operations of Nauticollar. He also happens to be our official product tester (don't worry, he is handsomely compensated in treats and belly scratches). His playhard lifestyle ensures that we only release the most durable collars and leashes available on the market.

Nauticollar specializes in nautical dog collars, leashes, harnesses, and accessories. We also manufacture a variety of accessories for humans, including hats, key fobs, belts, and more.
